Sean Paul remixed to dnb

Hi All,

just finished and uploaded a remix I made of Sean Paul's Get Busy. It's a simple 'grab the original and program the beats under them', but I find the result enjoyable enough to share it with all of you Very Happy

Sean Paul - Get Busy (Quinone remix)

Please let me know if you burn the track on a cd and use it in your car to impress your Sean Paul friends Smile

Inge

haha nice one! I kinda like it, although DnB isn't quite my genre. But I think the drums are a bit too loud, the original vocals almost aren't hearable on my sound system (they are when I switch the subwoofer off but I hate to do that Wink)

Thank you for your replies. I merely made this song because it sounded so damn catchy with beats under it. When my friends and I heard this song for the first time, we simply all started beatboxing, because the song is so much suited for drums. No musical geniality, just plain beatprogrammingjoy Very Happy

I really like this, has potential to be a big crowd pleaser.

I can hear a large synth bass coming in, maybe I'll sample your track and remix it in MT, and then some good floaty blasting synths up near the top.

Grooo stuff Inge!

Thank you! I also wanted to add a bassline or growling synth, but I didn't have the time for it.
Maybe this track is going to be played by the local dnb-bass before Aphrodite, so let's hope he will hear it and wants to press it for its own sets Very Happy

*bobbing head to tune* Much ooers Very Happy

I really like this tune, but I heard a sample in the background that sounded familiar - the 'Ohh- Yeah' one.

I can only remember that sample from a game tune on a old PSX game, Impact Racing.

*still bobbing head to tune* Yeah, this song was made to have a fast beat Smile

OH MY GOSH! The track was played last night, and there were like a hundred people dancing their heads of when they heard the track! They started screaming when it started, and yelled even harder when the dj accidently turned off the sound for a few seconds.

My happiest moment as a producer...ever! Very Happy

I'm currently uploading a new version that is almost perfect. Let's just hope that nobody will break the thin analogue 56k6 line, or else I'll be sitting here till the morning, uploading stuff just to keep people like you happy Very Happy Sorry for the inconvenience.

Uploading again. If that doesn't work, I'll just lock this thread, and re-open it once it's finally done Sad
