Does anyone uses Bass Guitar samples? metaltrackers or so? If any one has some palm mutes/powerchords, please send them by mail(no more than 500k) xellos_mage@mail.ru
If you'll help I think I'll submit some of my works (Industrial Thrash Metal, sounds screwy)

"Does metal rule in madTracker?"

well that depends what you mean by 'rule'. in my opinion, i think the ruler of madtracked music is trance, since the most people produce it. i would like it to be drum & bass, dubs and jazz though...

if of course you mean that metal is a wonderful music in madtracker, then again.. you are wrong..

DRUM AND BASS IS!! Very Happy

Cool

a: answer b and c are the same.
b: poll can't be answered, since it depends from song to song.
c: I do think that trackers can be used for very broad styles
d: but in the end, only true drum 'n bass engineers are heroes (waving at Mikx and Sunbuster:D)

Hehe...post your music, and we will see if *your* metal rules in Madtracker Smile

hmm, should I really be called a DnB engineer? Confused I mean, so far I've only made a couple DnB tunes (one released on here, which was thought of being closer to breaks by some anyway)... which reminds me, I've got a pretty cool DnB loop which I made a couple of months ago, maybe I should try to develope it to something Very Happy

but seriously, I must agree with mikx, trance seems to be the ruler of madtracker, and I think that simply is because the effects in madtracker are easy to implement in a good way on a trance tune. Wouldn't mind seing some more jazz or big band tunes on here though Wink

Back to topic: I've sampled a bass guitar myself, and I could sample powerchords / palm mutes, but I'm afraid that sets will be bigger than 500k, my bass guitar set already is 1,2MB (I could lower the quality though).

Let me know if you're interested.

p.s. I do like metal in MT, but it will never get the same as when you play it yourself.

MY metal sucks Smile Well, I'm not too experienced in trackers' scene.
I don't like trance techno and DnB very much, I have a friend, he likes to do some techno on FruityLoops(LAMER). He has a dream to send his demo to Moby Smile... Some people never grow...

Well, sending the demo to Moby shouldn't be so hard. What is hard is to make the demo so good that Moby calls back Wink

Moby... Who would ever want to get in contact with someone that prefers to stop eating flesh instead of continuing making good music? Smile

But one must have ideals and dreams, even if use fruityloops.

Feeling even more real,
