I think exatly as G3ronimo thinks
Its realy chill and soft in your song here
No bad with it, its realy good i think!
nice pads in it and soft drums. and i realy like that sound which is coming in at 2:30. its a soft sound but even alittle "dance feeling" or how to say
/Good work! |

thanks guys, i think technically this is one of the best tracks ive done so im glad you like it.
G3ronimo - i made my own patches in z3ta for the bass pad and the distorted saw bass. z3ta is really good for bass because of the internal eq and the 6 osc's (stick a sine wave in to get meaty sub bass btw).
breaker - i loved the main theme so i pretty much stuck with it throughout and then made subtle changes around it (mainly the beats and the choral pad etc). it seems to have worked and like you say, doesnt seem to get boring.
anyway, thanks for your comments everyone and happy listening.
cheers

first of all great track!
great work on the mix and all the sounds, they work realy well together.
What I think would be nice though is some sort of lead sound, this would realy add so much to the track. Also you might consider minimalizing the drums a bit, and I mean that by shortening the samples, the kick you use is HUGE compared to the hi hats for example, try to balance that out a tiny bit. But these points are more my taste
The melodic part and chord structures are great, I realy LOVE that saw seq that comes in all the sudden. great work on that!
Keep it up man! |

Sorry for my late review, M8
Well, you know Iīm a fan of your sound....you exactly got the melodies I like to hear!
I like when the bassline changes at 02:05...that happens kinda surprising cause you might think it stays monotone like that...
so that gives an awesome feeling.
And when it changes its sound later...that just sounds so great!!
Positive:
- Samples/Vstīs...I like them all
- Beat...very good drum arrangement...changes at the right times
- Effects are placed perfect
- Melody rocks on every instrument/track
- Length of the song
- Athmosphere...mystic, cool, calm and rocking at the same time
Negative:
Absolutely nothing!!!
Canīt wait for your next release!
btw...is there an EP/LP coming up some time? |
