It depends on the type of file that you are using. MTI's and XI's can't be pre-listened, waves should be possible though. Please specify your problem further.

There is also a new option called "do not preview while playing". Check this one isn't check (in the configuration window).

so yeah, it still wont let me preview wavs anymore.
I can load them up and play them with the keyboard,
but no preview.
