I consider Recycling instead of looping the Winston Brother's amen is even a bigger crime Very Happy Check out (for instance) www.dogsonacid.com, and use 'classic drumloop' as search string in the forum. You'll be amazed Smile

Personally I like to do my own Drumloops. Chopping up beats and replacing samples. I listened to some D&B tunes and they all sounded the same if it comes to the loops. Dunno if Kruder and Dorfmeister is Drum and Bass but there music is fluid. Thats more the way I would like to do my beats.

yeah but kruder & drofmeister is more like jazz music.
The drums they use on there remix of Lambs 'Trans Fatty Acid' are just great. But they always keep in mind that the drums need to sound like they could be played by a real drummer. It took me some time but after analising the drums on there mix I could play it. So I guess, unless you want to give your tracks the squarpusher warp feel, you should try to keep your drum-programming as 'real' as possible..
