Okay, this is a near-finished song of mine... I'm currently doing the finishing touches, changing patches, tweaking, tweaking, EQ'ing, etc. Tell me what you think!!

Wasp Waste

I consider it to be my best work to date. Enjoy!

P.S. It's better if you crank it... Razz

Yeah, as said, it's a bit minimalistic. I'm not sure if it's good or bad in this one. I don't like the atmosphere very much. It's just too happy man! The lower synth sounds nicely crispy. I think the minimalism is a bit further boosted with that occasional something-thingie, which you first introduce at 0:39. The beat is nice, though I would perhaps like more something in there. Hell, I would always like more something everywhere, so that doesn't really count I guess. Anyways, an okay piece I guess. Maybe. Not sure though. Depends on whether you buy that present or not.

Thanks for the reviews! Very Happy

konfliktzone - thanks! yes, I've actually been considering putting some vocals in... not sure where or what though. I'll think about it some more.

Ravana - Haha, everything's too happy for you Razz But yes, minimalism tends to be one of my weaker points, which I'm trying to dispel of late. And that present... I don't know what to get you Razz

G3 - Yeah, the lead already has an EQ at 200 Hz, and it still has a bit of a muddy sound to it. Don't know what to do about that.

And about the perc... I'm going to buy a trance drumsample CD soon, and I'll see about replacing some of the samples.

Thanks again for the reviews!

I loved it! I think the basis of it all is very good; excellent bass line to build off of. If I had anything at all to say about making it a little hotter, it would be to, before your last push to the end, suddenly bring the volume way down, increasing it slowly, and before it's up all the way, introduce more percussion, layer by layer, till it's an unstoppable force that leaves you gasping for air after a punchy ending! I think it's got exactly what it takes to use that kind of ending. It's awesome! Let me know what you do with it, I'm anxious to hear!

Good track in a whole...

Reminds me of an action game...movie etc.

I´d love some variety though.....
Break with strings and breakbeat or something like that.
