well there is first of all a virus in the "gig" pack... second, ehm they dont seem to load in madtracker :S

I downloaded the WAV pack and that is clean and works fine.

well, gigs are somewhat different than simple wave files they are the file format of GigaStudio (they can be streamed from disc making instruments of this tyoe cost less phsysical memory) so they won't load in mt natively. you'll need a software sampler (such as halion, etc) to be able to load them up Wink

what virus did you find in the gig pack? since mine passed okayish through my antivir.

hmm Ill have to check again for that virus

edit: cant be found anymore cuz my virrus scanner wacked it... hmm oh well

i hope this isnt too incredibly cheeky but im going to add my site in here:

currently there are about 30 loops to download, but i plan to add 10 - 20 a week. oh and theyre all free under a cc license.

They wouldn't load here either and MT just choked on them. What I did was load the ones I needed (the shakers) into Soundforge and saved them again. Now they work fine Smile

if you wanna make quality sounding acoustic stuff this link is just too good. just download it now... and thanks again oldbrian seems like you know your way around the net spotting good sample sites. recomend this one highly!!!

seriously this project is of high quality. way way the best free samplepacks I ever heard. and even amongs the stuff I did buy it keeps up pretty good. can't belive he did all this for free...
