Madtracker trying to access internet?

When I connect with the internet and Madtracker is running in the background I sometimes get a message from my firewall program saying that Madtracker is trying to access internet! What's up with that?

MadTracker 2 do not contain any network-related code. I swear! Very Happy
There are only the www links in the help menu, but they are send to your default browser.

Do you have any details about the connection it is trying to make?

I`m absoloutley not the right person to talk about security matters, but isn`t IP 127.0.0.1:2044 an internal (on your own pc) request?

I agree though - it is strange that MT would call on that port, but the IP is not on the internet, but your own machine as far as I know - but I could very well be mistaken here....

Yes 127.0.0.1 is the localhost. It is strange that your firewall would block such connections. And it is even more strange that MT2 tried to connect in the start.
