What? Are there still people using windows system sounds? That's, er, cute! Smile

Hmm? Are you perhaps trying to cover the bugs of MadTracker with this lowly comment? Very Happy

Yes, the system sounds actually are useful sometimes. (Maybe not if you only stream porn... Not trying to hint anything)

A bit of context for the .ogg-export bitrate limitation: Yannick mainly intended this to be used to easily publish projects that one is working on with others who either don't use MadTracker or for the cases that the .mt2-file is way too big. It is *not* used for professional quality exporting, because that would somewhat render the wave export function less valuable. Those who have the wave export, can use for instance WinLame to make high quality .ogg-files for online publication. The standard .ogg-export feature is mainly for the more quick & dirty exchange of sounds and materials.

aah, thanks for the clarification, Inge. That does make sence Smile

[mode dull questions on]

1) What's that "side chaining thing" ? Has it something 2 do with side chaining compression ?

2) How do I use it in MT2.6 ?

[mode dull questions off]

Its been 3.5 years since MadTracker was last updated. Is it save to say development is dead?

Will there ever be a new update?

Shocked

... well, I have a few suggestions on how to move MT2.6 technically (well not *that* much technically) and in user friendliness further a bit..

Will be back with that some time. Just have to gather the information in my head first and get the time to write it down Smile
