Hello friends,

just wanted to know what you think about these two songs. They are created with madtracker too.

Fortitude is more houselike

Wreath of Mystery is more easy listening.

The songs are the products of our group PREDICTION. It consists of me and a good friend. Due to our studies we couldnt continue with it. I have some more tunes of PREDICTION if you are interested. So far I`d like to hear what you think about the tunes!

Thanks in advance,

yours

BeatMax

hello beatmax Smile

i checked out the tracks and here are my thoughts:

fortitude - good start to what sounds like a promising progressive house tune, but soon as the scatman-like sample comes in, the track turns to cheese.. in my opinion, scrap the vocal and pianos, and keep to the cool bassline whilst playing around with filtering those chord hits a little Wink .. but then again, i like darkness!

wreath of mystery - could this be melodic trance or something? not my favourite style of music, but the synths are quite nice and filtering sounds pretty good. everything is nice and deep, up until the ahhh vocal- it sounds a little dry and could use a reverb or maybe delay. im not a big fan of oldschool-sounding trance tunes, but the deepness in this one is pretty nice, despite the somewhat cheesy chords.

i think with a little bit of work, these tunes can turn out to be pretty cool; especially fortitude- it has great potential at the beginning to a classic progerssive track- remember what seb fontaine used to spin? Wink

Cool
mikx's 2 cents..
