Oscilloscope drawing bug

Hi all,

When I lower the buffer size in MT (less than 10), the scopes in MT don't draw right anymore. It's mostly the master scope and the fading scope in the Info box. But when the amount of channels is reduced (to two for example) the Channel scopes also get this error.

In the image, only the parts marked red move, the other part doesn't move.

I have a SB Audigy, use the DirectSound for Madtracker with buffersize 2 or 3 (lowest) and minimum delay on (amount of buffers can't be set with DirectSound).

Of course this is not really important, but I would love to have low latency, fast drawing scopes and patterns, and scopes that draw right.

Does anyone have found this little problem too?

Big Mo.

That's because the sound buffer gets too small to fill the oscilloscopes. Wink

Increase the buffersize and try it. Try a buffersize of 20 or 30.

Yeah that's a solution right. But the latency will increase, and as I like to play in Madtracker on a keyboard or electronic drumpads, I will not increase the latency.
Also, the bigger the buffer size, the less smooth everything will draw in MT. For this reasons, I try to keep the buffersize as low as possible, my soundcard can handle it Wink.

I find that on my soundblaster live! platinum (CT4760), that if I go lower than a buffersize of 20, I start getting a lot of "sound garbage". that is why i suggested that, but I guess the audigy is a much better sound card.

They claim the Audigy can handle a zero latency, but when I try that (even with Asio), the sound goed mad, but I'm happy with a buffersize of 2 or 3.
I just think it's a pity that I can only see a half scope.
