Hi all,

The webcast announcement stated that there is a website done for that song, on which you can see the recording session pictures (Including Julie / Caillean's pictures, and also a picture of her tracking some extra channels of the module).

The mastered .mp3 version is also there. The drumloops sources (in .mt2 format) too.

To get there it's quite easy : http://perso.club-internet.fr/philmeis/mtcompo3.htm

Eurovision songs rulez Smile

BTW, the french version of this song's gonna be included on Caillean's debut album "Bleu" (Blue)

C-Frog : We're into colors too ! Smile

1) I'll first have to finish the french version of the lyrics !
2) Then I'll have to find time to record it.
3) I'ld like to gather the list of the technical flaws of the english version (besides the accent) to improve also the other technical aspects of that song.
4) Expect this to be done in august.

Sunbuster : to hear how Caillean sings in French, just check your e-mail. I provided you with a link to an excerpt of her singing in French (400 Kb OGG file).

The reason why we choosed "Bleu" (blue) as the name of her album is because everytime sometimes meets her, their 1st reaction is "Wow, what wonderful BLUE eyes you have !". So we had to decide whether we would call the album "Eyes" or "Blue". And as Eyes would have been a too obvious reference to her eyes, we choosed blue.

Hi !

In Sunbuster's review, he says we might have scored better if we would have sung in our native language (French).

Here's a small exemple of what Caillean can do when she sings in french : http://perso.club-internet.fr/philmeis/tnk_caillean_verslhorizon_end.ogg , so that you can find out by yourself.

If anyone would like to listen to this small excerpt (400 kb), I'ld like to know if it sounds better than my compo entry (It's also to check if my new set of parameters works better than the one I used in my entry).

I wish you a pleasent listening.

A very good theme

Hi,

I only wanted to say that is a very good theme. Althouth I do not like very much quiet songs, this has lots of hours if front of Madtracker. Only for this, it would had to be in top positions.

Do not be sad, work for more!

Greetings,

VertiKal

Even if I indeed expected a higher place, I am not sad and more works by TNK & Caillean will be coming, count on this.

Hi all,

I've got a nice e-mail from a "Turn the sky all blue" fan today (yep, there are!). He told me we (Caillean & I) could make an extra version of the song, that would make fun of Microsoft and their so stable OSes. He suggested me the following title : "Turn the screen all blue".

What about those lyrics :

"To turn the screen all blue, to crash your PC too, installing [beeep] is what you gotta do.
To follow the worst way, DRM's all the way,
For a nightmare that's sadly here to stay".

?
