Hum. I can log in to #madtracker at espernet via mIRC, but I can't do so via the IRC client inside MadTracker. Furthermore, mIRC works, and I guess MT uses the same port as mIRC uses for connecting to IRC. Anyone? I need to test my keyboard more properly to see if my new rig works Inge

Inge, sorry. I didn't notice the problem at first. When I tried to log in at a certain period of time after my first successful try after reading your message, I got the same error that you described. I waited a little while and tried logging in a third time, and it worked again. I think part of the problem may have been either a). Something wrong with the IEC server. b). one of the computers betweeen the users and the server may have been down . (problem with one of the computers that the signal is routed through)
