Madtracker LPB limitation

Hello. I'm usually working with 145bpm, 8lpb, 6ticks.

Sometimes like now I need more resolution. My solution for this since the ancient times was to double the length of the pattern and double the speed (in FT2). In MT2 the doubling of lpb would do the same thing, but it is impossible to set lpb bigger than 15 with the 0F command. Is there some way to go around this or some other replaceable effect?

Thanks.

well, if you don't mind having the high resolution throughout the track, then you can set the lpb up to 32 with the settings boxes under the oscilloscopes. Don't know how to do it in code though (never needed more reso on a beat than 16).

i don't think there's any way to set the lpb higher then 15 using code. which kinda sucks. my standard resolution is 16 lpb, i don't see any need to change it.

what is hip?

won't '10' do the trick, it being that '10' = 16 in hexidecimal code?

doesn't fit, there's only one digit available in the command
