Well, best I could see done with those samples... `cept for the ending. WTF? Smile
Also, it wanted another two files. Any idea?

And, was it made with MT2.3? Cause, it said "Invalid Module Version" when I loaded it, but it still worked (Yay)

What the hell????

Distoroted retro amiga demo music of yesteryear? That used to be done in 4chn but is now multichannel with obvious advantages?

It was really crappy.

Very Happy

The compo results came in one zip with keep-on-disk samples in the songs, I removed all the keep-on-disk things from the samples but now when I removed the original directory I had the composongs/samples in it wants some file from me too. I don't hear anything missing in the song though. Dunno what that's about. I also ran the cleanup thing.

It is made with mt2.3, Yannick said somewhere that you can open newer version module "at your own risk" but since this song doesn't use any features of the new version it probably works fine.

I ran out of time of composing ending to it Smile

Yes I have to agree with em22. definite demo music, maybe a little bit showtuney, or a little dance track-ish. (At least I finally have something to say about a tune). I like the title, but it wasn't exactly descriptive. I wouldn't have called the tune minishit" because it wasn't that bad, just a little retro maybe?

You need some production on that, first off. Um.... My first few tracks were similar to that one....
Um... that's all I'll let myself say.

ummh, you are missing the point now. The song is produced in two hours and it's total piece of crap. I don't personally very much like anything technois anyway. The samples in the set were crap/useless to me (regarding my personal music style). In two hours there's not very much time to plan what to do with it, you just start doing something and probably can't even finish it (not sure if MT minicompo deadline is 2hours though). Try to do anything too fancy and end up with something like Toffe's "Music from a deaf world" Laughing

I think the point of a minicompo is more of having fun than producing anything useful.

Well anyway it seems I'll need to try something else when those compos do start since 80s demoshit obviously isn't going through you.. you... PEOPLE!

Laughing Yes, the whole idea of the mini-compos is to do something with a small sample pack in a short amount of time (2 hours I think was a pretty usual timespan).

Just realized that I want "worst of the worst" compo where the worst possible song is the winner. That would indeed be great. Surprised
