I encounter the following problem : As opening MT2 the irc goes on beeping, so it's working. I click on the chat button. My nickname appears in a case and I am connected. But no listing of online or offline people appears on the right side of the screen and I am soon disconnected without any possible return. I've used the chat only once on today; for the first time - therefore I know there should be a listing on the right side - and everything has collapsed after one user proposed me to install MSN Messenger to send and receive some files easier. My Internet security reports an intruder anytime i launch MT2. What do you think about this ?

Have you perhaps inadvertedly blocked mt2 from accessing the internet? And if your firewall keeps bugging you about incoming connections when you try to use the madtracker chat, then you probably need to make a rule that allows mt2 to connect to the internet. Otherwise no chat and no automatic news updates

Ok, perhaps my firewall has interferred. But I created no special rule for MadTracker. How can I learn the language/codes used in the chat ? I'm not systematically disconnected, except when an average time has extended. I'm wondering if there could be any /join ... or any syntax to type in order to let something happen.
