With Sunbuster. It's rather crucial to keep everything on one server, so that its content atleast won't get attacked by disappearing images and alike. Yannick part 2?

@Ravana: I added the link to the list. BTW you can find it on my tutorial site under MADTRACKER 2 > EFFECTS > Effects compared Wink.

Oh man, I'm so in. I've been eager to start work on a glossary, complete with audio examples. Will this be possible in the Wiki?

yes, but for the time being it seems you have to host the files yourself Sad

You can already log in to the Wiki with your username/password, so be anyone's guest to add anything useful Smile

As for the uploads: I'll ask Yannick. I think he should allow people to do so.

Allright, well I've been editing and experimenting all day, and one thing I think would be helpful is the inputbox extension. This would allow comment boxes, search boxes, and page creation boxes to be programmed into various pages of the wiki. The page creation function would be especially helpful; it would allow someone to put an input box on the main page that anyone could enter a new page title into, and then get started editing it right away. Does anyone else agree that this would be helpful?

If the final verdict is yes, both the file and the instructions can be found
here.

Ok, I'm a bit uncertain of the necessity of the extension:

1. there already is a search box which is placed in the standard position where people used to a wiki probably look right away. Why would we want people to be able to add search boxes to other pages? Wouldn't that clutter the interface?

2. The comments box thingy might be usefull (based on the instructions I'm still not sure how exactly it would work), but again, this feature is already available through the discussion link at the top of each page, right? Why another method of doing it? And would one have to add this box manually to each page?

3. Page creation box: I can see the positive of this, since it removes one step from the new page creation process (input page name in box->start writing vs. input page name in url->click edit this page->start writing if I'm right). On the other hand again, this is a method that would be available on the front page, or? So if you wanted to start a new page while on some other page than the main page, you'd still have to do it the url way or go to the main page and continue from there. On the other hand if this box would be placed in the left sidebar so that it is visible all the time, then it would speed up the process.

All in all, the page creation box would be a bonus to have, if it can be made visible all the time or better yet, added in such a way that only logged in users can see it all the time? I don't however see the extension as a necessary feature to have.

Have you sent a PM to Inge, asking to be added to the contributors list? It doesn't work automatically with your default forum login, you have to get activated and that's something only a moderator of this forum can do afaik.

As Sunbuster said, that's because you weren't a member of the Documentation-group. You now are, and therefore are now able to login on the Wiki-site with your regular user name.
