Sample Sync Bug

Every loop I've tried to sync in MadTracker 2.3.2 has been a true pain in the ass. Sad

For example:
Quote:
Sample 1
Beats : 4
BMP : 54.3918

Beats : 5
BMP : 40.6252

Beats : 6
BMP : 48.7499

Beats : 7
BMP : 40.5536

Beats : 8
BMP : 108.7815

That's if I change the beats parameter.

If I change the BMP parameter with the ones given here, I get this:
Quote:
Sample 1
Beats : 47.0854
BMP : 54.3918

Beats : 35.1680
BMP : 40.6252

Beats : 42.2014
BMP : 48.7499

Beats : 35.1060
BMP : 40.5536

Beats : 94.1689
BMP : 108.7815

Anyone else come across this?

Hmm... Actually in the new version I make it calculate the BPM according to the loop and not to the whole sample (which made more sense to me).

Tell me how are your samples (looped or not, from where to where, etc.) and I'll see what's wrong.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok, so it's gotta be looped. Embarassed

I just tested it out, and yeah, it works perfectly now.
I've never actually looped my loops. I just use the sync thingy, but now the sync thingy only works properly when a loop is defined.

I suppose that does help with the accuracy of finding the BPM of looped samples Wink

edit: Sorry if that bit made no sense whatsoever Confused

Thanks Smile
