for some reason, my compressor isn't working. when i go to load the vst, instead of giving me the vst on the display, it displays the file location and am unable to use it. don't know if i need to redownload the vst or what ...

That's terrible, have you tried to change drivers and then change it back? Are you sure that it is set to the same track as the scource ? Try looking for other compressors and maybe you will find even better ones.. hate it when working on a track and something don't work as usual, hope you will find a solution. well it seems to have fixed itself. but it was something where in the display, it read something like C:\Documents and Settings\ etc. etc. etc. working alright now. madtracker has frozen a couple times, but nothing major. i also sometimes get the error window when i close the program or start a new song from another one "error cleaning up vst's" ... no clue where that's coming from ...
