I'm not sure if I acctually understood what you wrote here but madtracker still is independent. You can run your vst's in madtracker. There is no need to use rewire if you don't want to Wink

You don´t need other programs like Fruityloops to run your vst-instruments/fx, because madtracker will be the vst-host.
Madtracker will still be an independant program, with the exception of the vst-plugins.
It is however possible to connect Madtracker with Reason for example, trough Rewire.

Hmmm...I see the answer is allready given in the post above. Embarassed

acctually that isn't really true. Reason is also a synth like madtrack and therefor you cannot connect theese two. But you can use orion cubase and so on.

Ah, well I´m not familiar with Rewire and/or Reason.
So you can connect Madtracker with Cubase, Orion and other sequencers which support Rewire.
Does this mean that the Madtracker-channels will also appear in the Cubase mixer, so you can add extra fx to it?

I'm not sure if you can get each madtracker channel into seperate channel in the mixer of Cubase, but I haven't found a way. I think madtracker misses a interface that splits the sound up and just sends Left and Right to a ex: Cubase. But at least I know you can get madtrackers L and R output into on channel in the mixer in Cubase. Maybe someone else can enlighten us, Yannick Wink

MadTracker can only send the master channel via ReWire for the moment. I will work on the multi-track ReWire after the first RC.

The public beta should be out today. I'm doing preliminary tests with people on the IRC channel. Wink

No your wrong as well. Reason can be used both as a Mixer or a synth with rewire application.
(I've been reading) Wink

I don't think so. It would be unfair to those who already entered their songs.
