Don't forget there are many gays in the movie business...including the one who was in charge of the casting...(I think in our group of 6 students, I was one of the 2-3 NON-gay!)

And as in the 1st year we were a boys-only team (There was 1 girl for 15 students in our school). Fortunately, in second year, I managed to get in the same group as the hottest girl in the school. No more red-dress duties for me !

Spooky Keys

This one is really fun and sounds like a singing saw. Instant Mars attacks sound Wink) It offers different waveforms besides the sinus wave and has filters etc. Very interesting.

Are you talking about MIDI/sampling or "live" analog input (voice, line-in, etc.)?

Hi Toffe!

Have you tried out NGCs Modulator 2 yet? For the tasks you were mentioning you need a modulator. For vibratos you need frequency modulation, for tremolos you need amplitude modulation. Modulator 2 is very nice and offers a lot of functions. Together with the Madtracker automation you should have a good control over your sound. I guess you need it for guitar / rhodes?

NDC-Plugs / The Modulator
(Pitch,FM,ringmod) very versatile and well designed modulator includes the mad-shifta routine for pitching

great new vsti developer Miksybrand

Hi friends!

I found a link to this developers site by accident. This guy rules, what he does with Synthedit is absolutely amazing, sounds and looks good. Give him a chance. On the list of my favoured developers he is ranked pretty high! A must try!

Are there any good free choir vsti's except for Delay Lama? That one sucks, but quite funny though Smile

I've heard of "Angelina", but I dunno if it's free...

Well, I guess to get the best choirs its better to use a soundfont player and an adequate soundfont. Hammersound.net is a great resource. It will sound better and will I guess be less cpu intensive. Havent tried to create choirs using vowel synths yet. IMHO soundfonts are the best way for convincing choirs.

Hi guys, just putting my two cents in, plus a link for you all.

http://www.yohng.com/

Yohng.com has both freeware and commercial VSTs. The VSTis they have include a Piano module, a rhodes module, a bass module, and an E piano module. I haven't looked at the list of VSTs themselves yet.

All-in-one vsti effect : LFX 1310

Luxonix / LFX 1310

A very nice plugin with very low cpu usage that combines a lot of usefull algorithms, e.g. reverb, delay, stereo seperation, distortion, compression etc. Its like KJAERHUS' classic series all in one plugin. Very Happy
