Dark ambient with lotsa synths effects. Oldbrian tells us in the infobox it's a conversion of a song he did with Halion. This for sure explains the high quality, originality and use of the samples in this piece. Sometimes, the sound gets a bit noisy, but it seems to be on purpose (there's even one sample for this).

I really liked the originality of this one, and it's very special mood it sets. The author claims this song has been inspired by Neon Genesis Evangelion, a production I personally do not know but guess it's some kind of manga anime. Anyway, that track would definitely fit to hi-quality manga animes !

The only thing I don't like in this track is it's heavy use of pre-sampled things (that the author might - and probably has) done himself in Halion. I would have liked to see more in-MT2 work.

But who cares. Even if it's a music style I do not like that much, Oldbrian definitely managed to acheive his goal with maestria, and therefore gets a ^^ rate from me !

Wow!

Double wow!!!

Afterthis whopping 8meg download and unpacking the 18meg file, I was stunned by the sound quality of this wicked track!
It seems that Oldbrian sampled some VST's wich made some very good results!

This one let's you slip away to unexplored terratory's of an alien solar system, while boarding a spaceship where half of the passangers just died in there cryogenic stasis...
If I ever have the change to film such a scene I would use this track as music!
It's a great combination of pads, fx's and strange harmonic's in the modulated percussion. It gives the whole track this feeling of transparancy. just great!

this is a must download !!

Oldbrian, your tracks get better and better everytime I hear one!

I'm not normally into this type of stuff. But,,,, This is well worth the d/l. 8mb extracted into 18mb (couldn't believe the compaction rate (wish some of my songs could zip themselves up that tight).

Sample quality is not far from perfect. don't fall asleep with this track looped, you may be in for some seriously disturbing dreams.

Like i said. Not normally into this type of thing, but, after hearing this I will be downloading this genre much much more. Two thumbs up to oldbrian.
