A sample is a soundfile that could be used in music.

In Madtracker samples are pitchbent to reach the right frequency for a note. A sample can be visualized in a sample-editor.


Madtracker 2 supports samples in the form of:

.Mts - Madtracker sample

.Wav - Microsoft wave

.Aif - Macintosh AIFF

.Iff - Amiga IFF

.Ogg - Ogg vorbis
