Is there a way to make thumbnails of the images via some code inside the wiki? I'm thinking these images are a bit too large to be directly in the wiki, however the resolution would be good to preserve in case someone wants to analyze the images more thorougly.

I don't know, but I do agree with you. I haven't seen such a function yet, but maybe it is included once Yannick allows file-uploads. I'll direct him to this discussion. Thanks.
