Hi all,
I want to be able to map samples to individual notes within one instrument. So that I can load in slices of a recycled break.
Now I've got as far as loading in the individual samples on the instrument properties screen, but MT automatically ranges the pitch of whatever I load in. So the drum sound on c-3 sounds ok, but everything else that I map is either pitched up or pitched down.
I know how to manually alter the pitches, but this is time consuming and a little painful - is there a way I can disable the "auto-pitching" when loading in samples?
Hope someone is able to help,
Kreza

[11:58:58] <kreza> how can i load in a bunch of drum samples to one instrument, without the pitched being auto-ranged all up the keyboard?
[11:59:36] <Toffe> you could use the syncronize button
[11:59:54] <Toffe> don't remember if it's named exactly that but...
[12:00:03] <kreza> yeah it is
[12:00:10] <kreza> what does it do?
[12:00:12] <Toffe> when you press the wav button
[12:00:30] <Toffe> there should be an box where you can check a sync something
[12:00:45] <kreza> yep found it
[12:00:48] <kreza> then what?
[12:00:53] <Toffe> it makes all the drums play in the same tone whatever note you press
[12:01:04] <kreza> oh cool
[12:01:04] <Toffe> check the box
[12:01:05] <Toffe> enable it
[12:01:09] <Toffe> for each sample
[12:01:13] <kreza> you're a bloody legend mate
[12:01:20] <kreza> ths has been driving me crazy for weeks
[12:01:29] <kreza> ^this
[12:01:31] <Toffe> heh, I guess it did work then
[12:01:43] <kreza> thanks very much
