Ey all!
I've been working on a new EP, it's going to be released on the mmmph.org netlabel.
I've finished one little track : Warm Fuzzy Electrons It's a bit big, because it's 320kbs...
I've exported the file to wave, but then I quit madtracker and didn't save the file so I have the rewrite half the track

1: this track justifies buying expensive speakers, or forces one into doing so due to the clarity of sound.
2: i love it.
3: did you already check out Fairmont & James Holden at Doornroosje (3voor12)?
4: it might be fun to sometimes vary the bassline concerning its appearance. It might work nicely to speed it up (so double entries; each second position instead of each fourth position) at the end of some patterns.
5: how crowded is the 'I want to be Nathan Fake'-field at the moment? This seems quite relevant to be able to estimate how original this track is.
6: the track speaks. really. a properly chosen videoclip would have stunning effects on the perception of this track.
7: see 2. |

great track! its bouncy (and for some reason reminded me of old snes game music) but a little bit dirty as well.
i went to fabric in london at the weekend and this was the sort of music that was played (albeit significantly more evil) but this would definately work well in a club (which i think is what you were aiming for?).
if i was to make any suggestions they would be to stick in an 8 bar mix in at the start to make it a bit easier for mixing (that bassline would make it virtually impossible to beat match, unless you use ableton live or something similar). also i noticed at the weekend that massive buildups of noise that drop into beat and bassline work really well at getting a dancefloor going.
technically though the track is great (i particularly like the hihats and the off beat bassline). anyway nice work and i look forward to the ep.
cheers

Like this track too.
But I think the melody needs some more variation. |

Nice beats as usual, and the "Qubical Sound" is definately there
I like it...but like Tom said;it needs more variation..
1.what kind of compressors do you use?
2.is it 100%MT? |

I like it. I really like the chipsound to it, but it's still danceable, which is cool. Perhaps it should be more up tempo, but this would be a nice warm up for a bit faster song perhaps.
I like your style, it's different. |

I like the beat a lot...and the long hihat that comes in at 01:00...sounds awesome!
Even with those chiptune-breaks I miss some variation too.
But all in all an exellent danceable track!
Good work |
