Im having fun playing around with a 5/4 beat. Its a jazzy beat which gives a different feel than the "normal" 4/4. it allows for new melodies and grooves and can help bring the fun into it again if youre feelin low on inspiration.

TRUE ! Building new patches/playing with vsti/e presets is also a good inspiration trigger in my case Or remxing someone elses work(mid's or mt) does the trick quite often too ...
