hi everybody,
i'm trying to learn to use mad tracker, but it's the first tracker i've never used, so it's not so easy for me..
i have a problem: in the main window, where i write notes, there is also the space for panning parameters..but i can't find anywhere in the tutorials or in the help file how can i use it.. i've found that '01' is totally left, '80' centred and 'ff' totally right..but i don't understand how does it work. i tried to type '01' and 'ff' but there is no change in the sound's panning..
please help me, i'm sure it's not a huge problem, i just want to learn!
thanks a lot! |

Well its a hexadecimal number... (16 numbers) 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08,09,0a,0b,0c,0d,0e,0f,10,11,...
,19,1a,1b,1c,1d,1f,20,21 etc.
01 is totaly left
3f should be about half to left
80 id middle
c0 should be about haft to right
ff is totaly right
If you type the number in the right place, it should work...
You could also try to refresh soundcard etc, if you have mono all the way? |

i suppose, you tried to use the panning with a vst-plugin on the wrong track. the effects only work on the track you have chosen for the vst-plugin.
i hope, my english was not too bad.... |
