For the first time ever, am trying to get VSTi plugins to work in Cakewalk Pro Audio 9 after downloading them to a plugin folder on my hard disk. Am using a VST to Directx converter which works well for VST effects on audio tracks. However, VSTi plugins will load into Cake 9 (via the above mentioned converter)but produce no sound whatever. Can anyone tell me what needs to be done in order to activate a VST instrument in Cakewalk? Thanks.
