Hi, just wondering if in the near distance future if either 2 or 3 version`s of MT will be ported of to linux? If so all I ask is for a Mandrake 9.2 i586 version pwetty plz:P
Keep up the good work!
p.s I no longer use windows any more pure linux box me!
Well basicly i think it is actually down to "ATI" graphics drivers for linux. They seriously lack in 2d support but 3d support I get over 4,000 fps and as for 2d performance not very much. My point? well under wine madtracker is seriously not quite right ie, not the same as being in windows. There are some very noticable graphics issues, ie things not in the right place, but as soon as you hit maximise it goes away. Might be me being a little fussy or again might be the "ATI DRIVERS", but somehow it just does not feal right running under wine. Deffently not the same as running in windows(Hense the reason why im still duel booting xp with fedora). I do hope in the near future when or if Yannick gets any more help maybe some porting madtracker 2 for linux users as binary might be a "beta" option than running under wine. Mark out of 10: 5/10

But does MT only suffer in visual quality under WINE, or does the actual performance/sound quality/cpu usage/features also work in an inferior way to Windows-based MT usage?
