You mean: everyone has fiftymillion invites to give away, and everyone also has like fiftymillion gmail-accounts, but it remains beta because they can't finish it for whatever reason? It's not really working anymore as a marketing-trick, I think.
It did work very well a year ago. Back then, a gmail invite was like binary gold. They have now overdone it concerning the available invites.
[But, on the other hand, "gmail invite" is still a search term that I encounter frequently in the stats of my own site. Poor kids.]
Doh! I just got an email from GMail saying I have an account ready, but I accidentally deleted the email!! Does anyone here have a contact address for GMail customer service/tech support??
