copy block shortcut not working

copy block shortcut not working

hi. i've bought a new laptop, and for some reason the copy block shortcuts (alt+F4 etc) does not work.. have anyone experienced anything similar, or now how i can configure this thing? btw, the machine is a Aopen 1557 gls.

Check if your f-keys have double functions. They normally can be switched between normal mode and special mode. Check for an 'f-lock' (or similar) key to switch between modes.

The F-lock key is normally located left of the f-keys. You can also check the manual of the laptop (online version at ftp://ftp.aopen.com.cn/pub/nb/1557/manual/nb1557gd2u-sc-1029.pdf), and read what the different keys do.

It might be your graphic card that uses the same function. I have the same problem...
