How do you label channels in 2.3??

I've tried what it said, and it didn't work..anyone have any idea how this works??

Open the mixer window, click on the line directly under the fader of each track (somewhere where it says track 0, track 1, track 2 etc.) A dialog box pops up where you'll be able to enter a name for the channel you clicked on.
