Hey,
just getting into VSTs lately and I'm trying to understand how to affect the cut off and resonance of samples under SUPERWAVE8. I listened to future tribe -confession. I was unable to emulate his trance appregio cut off introduction he does at the start. I used automation on the same sample in super wave 8 and used instrument cut off at zero and then all the way up to the upper right hand corner of the graph making a 45 degree line. With normal sample instruments this normally introduces the sample sound (instead of ramping up the volume). But when I do it it does nothing and the sound is constant. Please help!

Make sure your editing the right parameter. Check out this helpfile, then look which parameter exactly is the filter that affects the output of your instrument in Superwave, select that parameter and create the automation of your choice.
The weird thing is that I have used cut off frequency as suggested in the help file. One difference I noticed with Future Tribe's version is that his settings are also a bit different. He has wheel on as opposed to direct. He must have changed something else but I can't see what it is.
Hey Inge,
the track is already availabe for download here. Its Future Tribe's song confession. I looked at his track and tried to emulate what he has done with the Trance Appregio sample. See how he uses instrument cut off 1 and 2? I made a new madtracker module and tried to do the same thing with the same instrument and it doesn't do what it does in his song.
