I need a tool to convert a HQ wav to a LQ wav - in order to preserve space. Anybody got a tip on some free software for this?

Audacity perhaps? or do you want something that does batch processing?

Audacity worked. Too bad I'm not happy with the quality anymore. But that's not Audacity's fault I guess.
