 |
I am wondering how to make music on it, I am unfamilier with its interface and need help on making my first song on it, I have Techno Ejay, and i am quite familier with its interface but what I am able to do with it is very limited as there there is very little originality in its preset loops and I want to do more with my music, i am also wondering if madtracks is suitable for composing techno music? |

Hi,
Did you read all the tutorials? Did you search old threads from this forum? IŽm not familiar with program you mentioned, so, can you be little more spesific what is the problem using madtracker? Installation ok? Did you get any sound out of it? Or is it just the interface? If so, youŽll get familiar with that in few hours or days - if it takes weeks, months or years, I recommend that you should check your head...
...and yes you can do any kinda music you can imagine with trackers. Even techno or house, if youŽre sure that you really wanna deal with that kind of music. |

I think you'll find it easier to make techno with madtracker, than any other kind of music. Ideal. There is a lot of hidden power in Madtracker. you have to explore it for years. It may take a while to get going. Just ask questions on the forum if you cannot find the answer on the wiki or tutorials.
Feel free to add to the wiki as you discover stuff too. Not everything is written down about MT.

That is true. I was just kidding a little... Even if you try hard to do something else, you may still end up to piece of trance or techno. Those genres are built-in to "the tracker code." |

go to the music section of this site, download a couple of tracks from there. that will give you a really good idea of how to start making your tracks, and yes, madtracker is great for making dance music. |
