Posted: Wed Apr 25 2007 20:13 Help! Can the Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth be output? |
 |
Hi! Me again. I have noticed that the Windows XP - built in Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth has some really good sound quality. However, when I use it as an instrument in MadTracker, I have to place notes and chords stemming from it, one line early in a pattern to be in synch. Are my settings out? Also when I am finished a song (containing a mixture of samples, VST and the GS wavetable synth and I export to wave using the MadTracker export device, the Microsoft wavetable synth is not included. I have tried to set it up in the Midi configuration box, but still no luck.
Do I need an input device. (I use the standard 102 key keyboard as my device, but have no idea how to make MadTracker recognise it as an input device. Any advice or help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Regards to all, Ian |

The single-line delay also happens to all of my MIDI instruments, not just the Microsoft one. I also tried the Soundmax MIDI, but its delayed as well.
Any ideas? |

Just installed one of these and its in synch. Still cant export all to wave though. The way i solve it is by recording on the creative built in Smart recorder, capable of 96kz and 24 bit recording, while all is running on the tracker and then convert to 16 bit, 320kb/sec. Can't notice any sound degrade. If anything, it sounds better. |
