Posted: Sat Dec 04 2004 15:33 Some drum VST's won't work |
 |
Hi
I have a problem with some drum vst's. I can't get them to work.
The vst's I'm talking about are for instance RM3, RM4, drumatic 3. I don't have these problems with other vst's. Does anyone know how to make these things work???
Ive read the FAQ but couldn't find the answer there.
Thanks

Drumatic 3 works fine with me. Keep in mind that every single drumsound is attached to a different note. A bassdrum for example in drumatic 3 is played with key C-3 and a snaredrum is played with another note, so there´s a certain range of notes which produces sound and the rest produces nothing but silence. |

Sorry to drag out an old thread.
I am new to MadTracker and am really unsure how to use the Drumatic.
C-3 plays the Tom, but no key plays any other "instrument". I know this because I not only can hear the sound, but the Trig light comes on when C-3 is played.
I have also read in other threads to set Octave to C-1. Changing this does not seem to make any difference (unless I am setting it in the wrong place)
Can someone please help with maybe a simple tutorial (or a link to an existing one that I can't find) with screenshots on how to use Drumatic (either the one with MadTracker or v2)
There was another thread with links to e-phonic, but there was no tut's there.
EDIT::: Scrap this, worked it out.
Cheers,
James |
