From what you've read in the description, do you think "Xeon" will be any good? |

It's gonna suck like half the already-existing VSTs. |

Trying you VST's now,
the Trica one has WAY too small interface, the buttons and all should be at least 2x as big, and the writing should be in a different collour, try to keep a dark background with light letters! It doesn't have much options to tweak around with imo,
Vagebond is a lot nicer if you ask me! I'm able to pick the OSC shape, very nice though I'd like to be able to pick 2 or 4 or 8 ^^ Very nice that you built in the option to use a "7th" (actually it is called a fifth )
The Vibrato mod is absolutely great ^^ (as you will notice in my small preview thingy) It doesnt react to envelopes though (In sonar that is) which is really too bad
http://pariarecords.googlepages.com/Vagebond.mp3 (btw there is a **** up in the begin, thats Vagebonds fault )
So Ehm, for your next synth,
- Being able to have multiple OSC shapes
- Being able to hook up your cutoff to the LFO, so it will filter every now and then
- Better functioning buttons (make em larger!!)
- Little more work on the design
- Being able to use additional effects in the plugin itself, like flangers, chorus, etc etc (yeaah you got overdrive and reverb, but I got other plugins for that )
Overall better sound quality, I had to tweak quite a bit ^^
Well, I like Vagebond the Trica one is meh
for a name.. name.. well, how about Prometheus, would do very nice I think |

Thanks I used the small knobs, etc because I wanted a small GUI but I plan to change that now. Yes, and they are final releases, but when I finish these new ones I might fix them...
Oh, and I called it a 7th accidentally, I found out it was a 5th not long ago...
As for the name... I'll see
Alex
P.S. Listened to the song, it was good, I've never actually used the vibrato myself... |
