Hello
Im using madtracker for a long time now to record ideas for my band. But I'm having the same problem last few month.
First I start recording a song let's say at 200 BPM. But then record a riff thats needs drums thats only possible at 150 BPM (Mainly the bassdrum). Is there any way to change this for 1 or 2 patterns and when it goes to another pattern it changes back to 200 BPM? If I would change it now all patterns use the same BPM.
One tip is to start the Microsoft Calculator, and go to the advanced mode. Make sure that "dec" is dotted, and then enter the number of BPM you want (in this case 150). After you've done that you change the dot to "hex" instead, and you get the hexadecimal value of the decimal value (in this case 96).
After that you enter the FT2 effect command "F96" and you'll get 150 bpm. (A zero will be entered to the right of F96 to state that you've used a FT2 effect command). Therefore it will look like this:
--- -- -- -0 -F96
