Madtracker 2 and Skype don't mix!

While I am in a call with a friend on skype, and start up MT2.... Things happen... MT2 blocks the sound so i cannot hear my friend talking but he can hear me. MT2 Runs super slow and lags out. Please help me before i RAGE quit Mad Tracker FOREVER!

oh no. Hopefully your rage wont lead to you quitting Madtracker and cheat us of oversized messages.

Why not quit Skype instead? Please favour your creativity over chats. More seriously: have you tried another sound device in both applications?

Is there a way to improve reception on Skype-To-Skype overseas calls to Vietnam from USA? Within the next few days I have another conference Skype call to Vietnam. I am currently in the USA. More specifically, the call will be to Hanoi from California. The first call I had with this group I eventually lost reception.
