The Conquest Of Scandinavia
By Inge on 2005-09-25
I've always wanted to go to Scandinavia. Former MadTracker-user Lauri Saine spoiled me by showing some random photos of the backyard of his house nearby Helsinki. All I could do was drop my jaw, drool on my monitor, and get into some sort of mental shock. "Such beauty in your backyard? Did you Photoshop all those trees, clouds and mountains into it or what?"

Artist Focus: QBical
By Inge on 2005-04-14
Raymond van Baal is better known inside the MadTracker-community as QBical. Under this disguise, he has been working with MadTracker since the end of the nineties. Artist Focus: TOffe
By Inge on 2004-08-01
Kristoffer Lindh - better known as TOffe - is almost 20, and lives in what he calls the most boring place you can imagine in the winter, namely Halmstad. After dismissing his plans for working in Norway, he got back into his town of birth, where he is currently busy with planning a new escape to Norway, and composing music. Apart from laying down chilled beats, TOffe can be found playing sports. At night, he is going out, and even willing to buy you a drink if you can spot him.

Ashmore: EAST
By Martin Hunter on 2001-12-01
Within a few days of my girlfriend tragically passing away a wreath was handed to me by a neighbour; a neighbour I had never even spoken to in the three years I had lived in London. We found we were both into writing music and decided to join up to write new songs. Through the pain; through the grief; we had just one goal and that was to create a unique sounding album combining Sean Powers folk/rock style with my techno/dance background mixed with the unusual added spice of an Ethnic soundscape. This was the creation of Ashmore.
