Sounds like: trailer of a cheesy reallife drama-movie on a tv channel.
Good:
-Very well balanced arrangement. Nice transitions between parts, resulting in a fluent song.
-Good mixing and use of the entire frequency range with the samples selected.
Points of attention:
-The final theme misses a real catch. Melting Memories can't impress me. The song is described as a film theme, and maybe that's the problem. It might be a good filler if combined with images, but it sounds too hollow on its own. There is little reason to listen this song without placing it in the proper context of visuals (or other type of art).
-Originality is far to be found. It's the same old thematic song for the leader or promo of a movie. Furthermore, the samples themselve are also quite predictable.

Romantic new age stuff here. A nice piece overall, good quality.
The track is well panned, it really uses the stereofield to it's advantage. Only thing I'd change is the panning of kick to the right, think it would work better dead center. I'm not so sure about the bassmelody. I think it could use a bit more volume.
In the drums section I'd perhaps give the hihat even more variation, give it a more live feeling by mixing up more closed and open hihat sounds. I noticed it was done to some part, but I think more would be better. Especially in the end they stick out quite much by following the same closed-open-closed pattern. Another thing I'd suggest using is a midi-keyboard for note input. This would give you the opportunity to play the hihats semi-live and get a natural variation in the volume of the notes, which would subconsiously increase their credibility.
But overall, a very good piece. Keep it up!

"Melting Memories" is a wonderfully heartfelt pop/light rock power-ballad frustratingly held back by muddy mixing and the lack of a memorable hook. But there's no denying the emotional power of Zetesisaa's composition, and it's almost enough to single-handedly carry the song.
The emotional dynamics of the song are simply incredible, with skillful use of strong, long bass notes and percussion contrasted by higher background strings, pads, guitars and piano which provide a rhythm of their own. The cleanness of the sample selection draws this out even more. The song's power peaks a bit too early and could've benefitted from a lighter touch in the beginning followed by a big finish, but that's not a fatal flaw.
The composition is finely layered, and there's always a lot of intricate details to pay attention to, giving the song a strong atmosphere that almost compensates for the lack of any truly strong leading melodies or hooks.
But it's in this regard that the song's mixing becomes an issue. Without a strong melody, the song is wholly dependent on those little details. But with so much going on, clear mixing is imperative to make sure that everything can be heard, and here Zetesisaa falls far short. Large sections of the song sound blurry and muddy, detracting from the atmosphere of the song. Both the volume and panning needed to be worked on to solve this problem.
"Melting Memories" is still quite evocative even with its flaws, and the emotional power alone makes this worth a download.
