Sounds like: italo-eurodance?
Good:
-Catchy melodies
-Good overall structure of the song
Points of attention:
-sound lacks power; it somehow falls in between a clubbing record and a deephouse tune, but isn't either one of them.
-drums are too weak. the driving force (bassdrum - hihat - clap should be more powerful to give this song a proper drive.
-samples are well-used, but not creative.

Right, we're in the house area this time around. It's a pretty basic track, which actually reminded me a bit of the Faithless sound at the times of "Insomnia". The atmosphere is pretty dramatic at times, at other times it's a bit happier again (when the trumpet-like sounds play). The melodyline is nice, but again, pretty standard stuff. Vertikal has chosen to use a robotic voice saying "welcome to madtracker" in the track. Somehow I don't think the robotic voice quite fits the rest of the track. A low male voice without any special effects on it might have worked better I think.
The mix is good, Vertikal has managed to push quite a good amount of volume out of Madtracker, and even thought the mixers clip indicator turned on at one point, there was no audible distortion. Instruments are suitably panned, and samples are of good quality. Track effects have been used visely, and are routed whenever possible. Technically there isn't anything wrong with the track, it's one of the better ones out there. My only problem with the track is that it's not that original, it doesn't have anything that would make it stand out of the crowd. It's well produced, I enjoyed listening to it, but I'll probably have forgotten it pretty soon also, unfortunately.
