right, this one throws you into some hard drumcomps right away. Not sure how to categorise this again, sounds like a mix of Greenday, Metallica and game music from the 80's. Sample quality could be better. Especially the hihat and crash sound a bit too low-fi. The panning on the drums is good though. If the leads would follow a similar path it would be great. at pattern 0F there's a weird shift in the theme, going from a darker theme to some bright jumpy thing. Must say I liked the second part better, it had more energy and was more fun to listen to. In the beginning the guitar sounds very far away, but again in the second part it's right where I'd want it. Only in the second part the kick of the drums dissapears a bit, same with the snare. Bring them out a bit more by raising the volume a notch or two. Overall, liked the second part, but the tune needs lots of work. My suggestion would be to skip the first part of the song, and concentrate on the stuff from 0F and forward. This is the good part. |
