Ouch! this tune almost kicked my eardrums out of place when it first started playing. Obviously the artist hasn't read the guidelines to making a successfull compo entry, otherwise he would have known that the default gain that all judges should listen to a tune to is set to 4. This one was pushing the limits with a gain of 1. Anyway, nice that you've been able to punch out this much volume from madtracker, but next time please remember the eardrums of us judges ;)
I'd categorise this as a mix between techno and hardtrance. Nice energy, but repetitive, especially the vocal stab. Panning could have been implemented a bit more, it's all pretty centered right now. I like what you're doing with the snare, gives the otherwise pretty monotone drums some variation.
I could imagine this one working in a club at peak hours, got my feet moving at least, but not with that vocal stab running through the whole song. It lacks a bit of personality, something to set it aside from the rest of the tracks.

Bad mix, sound quality below average. Extremely repetitive.
