I'm thinking theme music with this one, maybe a bit film music. Downtempo, not too complicated in structure.

The song lacks in one area, the instruments that play the lead sound a bit onedimensional. They sound a bit thin. The cello or violin in the beginning for instance, sounds a bit weak on it's own. I'd perhaps instead try to emulate a string quartett for instance, give the violin a bit more body.

Another thing about the song, and perhaps the biggest problem I have with it, is that most of the time it is a bit right-shifted. I think the reason for this is that very often, a melody is playing in the right channel without there being anything to balance it out in the left channel but drums. Most high notes are played in the right channel also, which adds to this unbalanced feeling I get. A more even spread of the melodies would be good in other words.

I like the melody that's being played with instr. 8. Has this nice mystic vibe. Good sample choice also. Also like the submelody played with instr. 11. But perhaps this one should have been placed in the left channel for instance.
Sample quality is very good, even though the samples aren't always up there at 44.1kHz. instr. 13 is a bit of a questionmark though. Again, it sounds a bit weak on it's own. Also, if it's supposed to be a trumpet, well it sounds a bit too synthetic. I'd try finding something more like a real trumpet, or something that's more clearly not a trumpet.

Overall, nice track, definetly worth a listen. Like I said, could be filmmusic for some adventure film, which I guess means the track managed pretty well in creating an atmoshpere, since it said in the parameters box that the song is loosely based on a rpg character. So good work there :)
