Sounds like: dreamtrance

Good:
Full sound spectrum. Catchy main melody. Very pleasant transitions during the song. Good leadtune sample choice. Loving the bassline all the way.

Points of attention:
Drums need some more attention for more powerful and energetic sound -> better hihat/claps/other white noise programming. Lacks real creativy, but is compensated with very well structured programming and melody arranging. Needs some fillers (fx, speech, drums, etc) at the bridge, which sounds way too hollow. The entire song is in desperate need for an enhancer to pump up low and high; sounds a bit muddy at times.

right, intro gets us of to a basic trance setup. Find it kind of interesting that the author in his notes has written "don't immitate, innovate and go create", when he basically follows every rule of typical trance there is. Everything from the basic drums-bassline intro, to the swooshy fx, to the first introduction of the lead melody (with accompanying change in bassmelody), to the break, to the introduction of the disted lead synth (may I say pretty typical trance strings), to the first climax, to the chilldown, to the drums-bassline only outro. This is a DJ friendly track for sure in that aspect.

Sample quality is good here, only thing I'd perhaps look into are those swooshy fx things, they could perhaps have a bit more low end. The mixing is also good as far as levels between instruments go. But then there once again is the issue of panning. Pretty much everything is dead center unless the stereo delay happens to kick things into either channel. By panning the instruments you'd be able to give the track so much more, so I'd suggest you look into that area.

sample selection is pretty basic trance stuff, what you'd expect to hear.

Overall, well it's a mainstream trance tune. It doesn't bring anything new to the plate. It's a tune that you'll dance to in the club but never remember the name of, simply because there are so many of these out there. I'd suggest trying to live up to the words you wrote in the notes, and really try to innovate and not imitate.

Technically well done, good quality sounds, reasonably good mix, nice chords. But perhaps not very original for someone waving the banner of "Don't immitate, innovate and go create" ;)
