hmm, not quite sure where to put this one. Downtempo, easylistening maybe. It's a pretty basic tune, but has some nice melodies.

The drums work pretty well, the hihats could perhaps be a bit louder. But, as I find myself saying pretty often, more panning would be nice. The bass is cool, has a nice deep rumble going. But here again I would perhaps have used a slightly different bassline. Instead of hitting the notes only once and the changing the note on the next hit, sometimes the same note could be hit twice in a row. Would give the melody that little extra I think.

One thing that really bothers me is the piano melody. At first, it's fine, but as it's on a loop through the whole song it gets really annoying in the end. I the end there's a weird panning from the right to the left channel, which I'm a bit confused about also.

The leadmelody is good though, has enough variation. The sample selection there I'm not sure about however, not sure it fits with the rest of the tune. I'd experiment with other samples.

Good thing about the lead and the piano though is that they're panned into different channels, which gives the track a good width as far as leads go.

Overall, it's good for a listen or two, but after that the piano melody really starts to bug.
