A slightly weird track. Downtempo, a bit creepy. Sample quality is a bit low. Especially on the snare and the fx this is audible. With other instruments it's not too obvious though. The brass section in the beginning (instr. 2 & 3) sounds a bit too simple. On top of that it's a very familiar pattern. Try coming up with something a bit more original. I know you can, because in the end of the song you have a very cool soloish section going (from pattern 1D forward about). In the end in general everything works much better than in the beginning. Pattern 23 forward are my favourites here, when you have that solo thing going with instr. 0C. Drums could be panned out. This would give the track more width. In the very end the loop that instr. 7 plays is repetaded partly and faded down at the same time. Makes it sound sort of like a delay. I'm sorry, but this delay thing sounds very clumsy. I would simply skip that, and instead just cut it at line 52 of pattern 2A. | ||||||||||||
